The outspoken Guanzon shared this opinion on Twitter Saturday, Feb. 25, or on the 37th anniversary of the bloodless revolution that ousted the late former president Ferdinand Marcos Sr.

"Dapat kayong mga pulangaw na hampas lupa magpasalamat na nag People Power. Kumg hindi , bankrupt to the  100th degree ang Pilipinas at wala kayong trabaho ngayon. #PeoplePower (To those , be thankful that People Power happened. If it didn't, the Philippines would have been bankrupt to the 100th degree and all of your would have been jobless)," she wrote.

An earlier tweet from Guanzon declared: "You cannot erase EDSA people Power from our nation's history . Even if you don't like it."

Guanzon is a former Commission on Elections (Comelec) commissioner.
