LAGANGILANG, Abra – Police arrested a drug surrenderer in a buy-bust operation here on Tuesday, Feb. 7.
Suspect was identified as Sherwin Vanjon Damoasen Bernal, 37, tagged as a high-value individual (HVI) and surrendered under the ‘’Oplan: Tokhang’’ of the Duterte administration in 2016.
The Abra police had been monitoring the suspect after he was also arrested in 2021 after a search warrant operation in his house yielded illegal drugs.
Suspect yielded 5.39 grams of suspected shabu valued at P36,652.
Bernal, who faces drug-related charges, and the narcotic are in the custody of the Lagangilang MPS for documentation and proper disposition.
