Did Erwin Tulfo foreshadow a full-time return to ACT-CIS Party-list?

Last week, Tulfo posted on Facebook pictures of himself participating in what appeared to be an outreach program of the popular party-list.

"MASARAP PONG BALIKAN ANG IYONG PINAGMULAN (It feels good to go back to where you came from)," the former broadcast journalist wrote, apparently referring to ACT-CIS.

"Salamat (Thank you) ACT-CIS for allowing me to help. May palugaw na rin pala kayo (So you give away porridge now)," added Tulfo. He is listed as the chairman of ACT-CIS Party-list.

Tulfo recently failed to get a confirmation on his appointment as Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) secretary due to citizenship issues.

Speaking of the House of Representatives, ACT-CIS Party-list has three seats in the chamber. The group's three current nominees are Jeffrey Soriano, Jocelyn Tulfo, and Edvic Yap.

ACT-CIS was the top vote-getter in the party-list race during the 2019 and 2022 elections.
