Five fast-food chain workers hurt due to LPG explosion


CANDELARIA, Quezon -- Five fast-food chain workers, including supervisors and cashier, were hurt after a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) exploded in a mall at Barangay Malabanban Norte in this town on Friday afternoon, Feb. 3.

Two of the victims suffered second degree burns and were rushed to the hospital.

The LPG tank blast occurred at around 3:30 p.m. inside a fast-food chain restaurant located inside a mall, a report from the Candelaria Bureau of Fire Protection said.

The victims were brought to Peter Paul Medical Center and Candelaria Doctors Hospital
