A total of 20 families or 79 individuals were affected in a fire that gutted seven houses along Road 1, Pampanga Street, Barangay 180 in Tondo, Manila on Friday, Feb 3.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) report, the fire that started at 1:35 p.m. was extinguished at 2:24 p.m. on Friday
According to the disaster operation report of the Manila Department of Social Welfare (MDSW), five houses were burned while two were partially damaged.
MDSW said 19 of the 79 victims are minors.
No casualties were reported in the incident.
Authorities are still conducting investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
Meanwhile, the affected families were brought to Barangay 180 covered court. They were given food packs, hot meals, and grocery items by the local government.
