For its inaugural link-up, Swedish furniture and lifestyle mega brand IKEA and Rotterdam-based designer Sabine Marcelis launch the Varmblixt collection, featuring sculptural and unique lighting objects, serve wares, rugs, and more. The 20-piece offering is set to highlight IKEA’s journey into strengthening “people’s curiosity connected to lighting in the home.”
“I wanted to take an unexpected approach to exploring the idea of how lighting functions within the home and to inspire people to consider new shapes and elements which blend into and highlight different types of interior spaces in new, bold, and artistic ways,” said Sabine on IKEA’s international site.
In the Philippines, the Swedish furniture and lifestyle store already makes available several items for purchase in-store including the donut serving bowl with lid, champagne coupe, paper napkins, and wall lamp. For online buyers, there will be a bit of a wait since the collection is not yet available on its shopping site.
