MADDELA, Quirino – An elderly job order employee was arrested after yielding two grams of shabu during a buy-bust operation in Purok 5 along aational road in Brgy. Villa Hermosa Norte here on Monday evening, Jan. 23.
The suspect was identified as Vicente Malubay, 62, and a resident of Brgy. Lusod, also in this town.
He was arrested by joint personnel of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 2, Maddela police and other law enforcement units.
Confiscated during the operation were two grams of shabu placed inside three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets, buy-bust money, a cellular phone, and a motorcycle without plate number.
The operation was duly witnessed by a barangay kagawad, National Prosecution Service (NPS) representative and media.
The suspect, together with the confiscated items, was brought to Maddela Police for documentation and proper disposition.
