The low pressure area (LPA) and shear line are expected to continue to bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Visayas, and Mindanao, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Wednesday, Jan. 11.

PAGASA warned against possible floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.

The northeast monsoon, locally called “amihan,” may also bring cloudy and rainy weather in Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, Marinduque, and Oriental Mindoro.

The public is also advised to remain vigilant against possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to heavy rains.

Meanwhile, the rest of Luzon, including Metro Manila, may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light amihan rains.
