ZAMBOANGA CITY -- After five years in hiding, a Basilan-based Abu Sayyaf sub-leader was arrested during a service of warrant of arrest in Barangay Bulanza, Lantawan City, Basilan Province on Saturday, Jan. 7.
A police report identified the suspect as Tiyana Janna a.k.a. Kumander Ramboo, a Sumisip-based Abu Sayyaf sub-leader.
Janna was also listed as the 6th most wanted personality in the Basilan Provincial Police Office.
Janna was arrested based on a warrant of arrest for murder issued by a Basilan court.
No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.
The suspect is accused of killing a certain Dayasil Wakil in Barangay Sapah-bulak, Sumisip on June 16, 2007.
Janna was brought to the Isabela City Police Station where he was temporarily detained.
