Issuance of voter's certification at Comelec main office resumes 


The issuance of voter's certification at the Commissiom on Elections (Comelec) main office in Intramuros, Manila resumed Monday, August 8.

In an advisory, the poll body said, applicants may proceed to the National Central File Division, Election Records and Statistics Department, Commission on Elections located at FEMII Bldg. Extension, Cabildo St. cor. A. Soriano Ave., Intramuros, Manila.

The Comelec said the voter's certification may alternatively be secured from the Office of the Election Officer (OEO) of the district, city or municipality where the voter is registered.

To secure a voter's certification applicants need to: • Present one valid ID and submit a photocopy •Pay the P75.00 fee •In case an authorized representative will apply on behalf of the applicant, the representative must submit an authorization letter and his or her own valid ID For senior citizens, persons with disability (PWDs), members of Indigenous People (IP) and Indigenous Cultural Communities (ICC), and solo parents, the voter's certification is free of charge.

The issuance of overseas voters' certificates also resumed Monday.
