Mobile Legends teams are up for a big challenge as Sibol penned a two-phase qualifier to determine the best teams where the cream of the crop will be handpicked for the IESF World Esports Championship in Bali, Indonesia.

Philippine Esports Organization Secretary-General Joebert Yu confirmed the process of the selection to Manila Bulletin.
Direct invite teams, the 31st Southeast Asian Games gold medalists Blacklist International, MSC 2022 champions RSG Philippines and third placer Omega Esports, will get a bye in the first phase of the qualifiers.
The first phase will be an open qualifier where registered teams battle each other for the "at least five slots" in the second phase. Professional teams ECHO, Bren Esports and Nexplay Evos have confirmed their participation in the open qualifier along with other amateur squads.
The top two teams at the end of the qualifiers will be invited to the three-day combine before Sibol picks the players that will represent the country in the IESF WE Championship in December.
The qualifiers fire off on Friday, July 8 and will last until Sunday, July 10.
