GOT7's Youngjae tests positive for Covid-19

K-pop boy band GOT7 member Youngjae has tested positive for Covid-19.

“Our artist, GOT7's Youngjae, tested positive for Covid-19 on the morning of the 7th ,” announced Sublime Artist, his agency.

It added, “Currently, Youngjae has suspended all schedules, complies with quarantine authorities' guidelines, and is concentrating on treatment and recovery.”

As a result, his radio program “GOT7 Youngjae's Best Friend” scheduled on July 7 will be hosted by former GFriend member Yerin, who is a singer under Sublime Artist.

“We will do our best for the treatment and recovery of Youngjae by putting the artist's health first, and we will do our best for everyone's safety by strictly following quarantine guidelines,” the agency added.

On July 7, South Korea recorded 18,511 new Covid-19 cases from 19,371 cases on July 6 to bring the total confirmed cases to 18.45 million since 2020.
