It all started with a blind item pointing to a "Dashing Personality" supposedly spending "special time" with "Always Bubbly Young Actress," something that his girlfriend identified as "Kindred Beauty" eventually discovered leading to "devastating breakup."
Fans were quick to assume the personalities involved are actually Daniel and Kathryn.
Several showbiz insiders jumped in on the fray, including veteran scribe Ogie Diaz, tweeting, "Kahit nga ako, Nalokah din, eh."
Meanwhile , ABS-CBN reporter MJ Felipe was quick to belie the notion, relating how he made an effort to reach out to people close to Daniel and Kathryn and that "both sources vehemently denied the rumors."
