Actress-singer Ciara Sotto thanked fellow showbiz personality Marissa Sanchez for supporting the tandem of Ping Lacson and Tito Sotto in the upcoming May 9 national elections.
It would be recalled that Marissa initially supported Sotto for vice president. But later, Marissa decided to pick Lacson as her presidential candidate because of his track record and experience. Lacson is also known for his strong anti-corruption stance and as a peace-loving person.
"Tingin nyo pag si Sen. Lacson and SP Sotto ang manalo? Palagay nyo magkakagulo pa rin? Tingin nyo lang? Marissa asked.
Ciara said that both Lacson and Sotto are ready to sacrifice for the good of our country. She recalled that worked hard to pass Bayanihan To Heal as One Act and Bayanihan 2 Law at the height of the pandemic.
"The ones who deserve our votes are the ones who sacrificed their lives and were brave enough to go to work in the senate physically (not hiding behind a computer hahit seniors sila)," Ciara said.
"Even during the strictest lockdown cos of covid, just to be able to pass Bayanihan 1 and 2, to help our kabababayans. Eto Ang mga pang-giyera. Silang dalawa yung karapat-dapat," she added.
