The post-May 2022 election scenario in the country must be "colorless", Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD) chairperson and vice presidential bet Sara Duterte said on Thursday, March 3.

Duterte, currently the mayor of Davao City, made this pitch during a campaign rally in Balayan, Batangas, where most attendees wore red t-shirts. She herself wore her signature green long-sleeved shirt.
“Ang sinasabi po namin ay dapat 'yung mga ma-elect na lider pagkatapos ng halalan ay hihilain lahat, walang kulay - pink, yellow, green, blue, red - walang kulay, hihilain lahat patungo sa tuloy-tuloy na kaunlaran ng ating bansa (What we're saying is that we should elect leaders that will pull everybody together, no more division by color--pink, yellow, green, blue, red--no more colors. Everybody must be pulled toward the country’s continued progress)," she told supporters at the Calatagan gymnasium.
Red is the campaign color or presidential candidate, former senator Bongbong Marcos. Duterte is Marcos's running mate in the upcoming May 9 polls.
Together, they are dubbed the "BBM-Sara UniTeam".
“Ang mensahe po namin ng UniTeam ni Bongbong Marcos at ni Sara Duterte ay dalawa. Una po ang pagkakaisa. Unity, nasa pangalan po namin 'yan, gusto naming lagyan ng mukha ang kasabihan na, ‘In unity, there is strength (The UniTeam of Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte is two-fold. Unity, that's in our name, we want to out a face to the phrase 'In unity, there is strength),'” she explained.
Duterte said the other message UniTeam wants to spread among Filipinos is their tandem’s commitment to pursue the reforms and programs started by her father, President Duterte.
