Mazda presents the 2022 CX-9
The metaverse future may still be some ways away, but that doesn’t mean one can’t invest in a mobile lounge already. Mazda Philippines offers one such example in the form of its flagship seven-seater crossover, the 2022 Mazda CX-9.
The 2022 Mazda CX-9 secures its commanding presence on the road with the introduction of the sporty Black Edition, and upgraded new features across all three variants. Primed with elegant design, first class functionality, enhanced comfort, and advanced safety technology, the 2022 Mazda CX-9 raises the bar yet again in the premium SUV and crossover space.

These new features enhance convenience, driving enjoyment and comfort across the entire 2022 Mazda CX-9 range: a standard 9.2-inch new infotainment display with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; standard wireless charger pad for your mobile phone’s battery; auto-hold function to complement the Electronic Parking Brake; G-Vectoring Plus; and paddle shifters.
The 2022 CX-9 range is offered in three variants: the top-of-the-line CX-9 AWD Exclusive; CX-9 Black Edition, and CX-9 Touring, all of which exude a whole new level of exquisiteness and refinement.
A rich audio experience comes with the excellent 12-speaker BOSE Premium Sound System, which is faithfully mated to the 9-inch Mazda Connect infotainment controls.
The 9.2-inch Mazda Connect LCD screen also displays the 360-degree camera view to assist drivers during parking maneuvers. And for added safety, the CX-9 (Black Edition variant) is also equipped with i-Activsense Safety Technologies such as Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist and Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
All variants of the 2022 Mazda CX-9 lineup will benefit from the responsive performance of the Skyactiv-G 2.5L Dynamic Turbo engine. Its 231-PS and 420-Nm of torque running on regular unleaded 93 RON gasoline is more than ample to deliver spritely performance uncommon in most large SUVs. The turbocharged engine is mated to a quick-shifting, six-speed Skyactiv-Drive automatic transmission to maximize performance and fuel efficiency. Along with G-Vectoring Control Plus, the Mazda CX-9 achieves the same exhilarating driving attributes one would expect from a Mazda.
