During the accounting and consolidation of PRO 2 personnel at the PRO 2 Grandstand here, Rumbaoa urged every police officer

to deliver public safety services with humility, professionalism, justice, and fairness.

"I am duty-bound to remind everyone, most especially those who are about to take their Yuletide break, not to tolerate the use of unauthorized firecrackers and avoid indiscriminate firing. Be mindful of your surroundings. Remind fellow men in uniform as well as civilian gun holders on responsible firearm handling for a peaceful and jolly holiday celebration,” he said.

We must deliver public service with humility, professionalism, justice, and fairness. Hence, take this season as the best chance to be with your families, bond with them and get close to them, Rumbaoa added.

Rumbaoa said a prison term awaits persons illegally discharging their guns and any individual caught using banned firecrackers and pyrotechnic devices shall be imprisoned for six months to one year and fined P20,000 to P30,000.

He said the PRO 2 remains on full alert until Jan. 10, 2022 to ensure public safety and security during the Yuletide season.
