In his Christmas message to his constituents, Marcos vowed to keep working until he elevates the quality of life in Ilocos Norte.

"Marami pang kailangang gawin, marami pang hanapbuhay na kailangang dalhin sa ating distrito at ating probinsya. At pangako ko po sa inyong lahat, hindi kami titigil hangga't gaganda po ang buhay ng Ilocos Norte (There is still a lot to be done, a lot of jobs need to be brought to our district and our province. And my promise to all of you is, we won't stop until life gets better in Ilocos Norte)," he said in a video message posted on Sunday, Dec. 25.

The 52-second clip was posted on the presidential son's Facebook page.

"Alam niyo po mahirap talaga paniwalaan na lumipas na amg anim na buwan nung ako'y nagsimula bilang ang inyong deputado (You know it's hard to believe that six months have already gone by since I began work as your representative)," said the neophyte congressman.

"Gusto ko lang sabihin na napakalaking karangalan po na nandito ako at nakikipag-serbisyo sa unang distrito ng Ilocos Norte (I just want to say that it's a huge honor for me to serve here in the first district of Ilocos Norte)," added Marcos.

Marcos, 28, is a senior deputy majority leader in the House of Representatives.

House members are currently on a five-week holiday recess. The next session will take place on Jan. 23, 2023.
