“Napakarami kong pinagpapasalamat (I have so many things to be thankful for). Thank you, Jesus! Happy Birthday!” he wrote.

He added, “Sa lahat ng nag dasal at umalalay sa akin maraming maraming salamat. God bless! (To all those who prayed and assisted me, thank you very much. God bless!).”

“Blessed Christmas sa ating lahat! Pinakamasayang Pasko kasama ang aking pamilya at mga kaibigan. (A blessed Christmas to everyone. This is the happiest Christmas together with my family and friends),” he said.

Navarro got an early Christmas gift when he was released on bail from the Taguig City Jail Male Dormitory on Dec. 6.

The Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 69 granted his petition for bail in the amount of P1 million for his provisional liberty.

Navarro is accused of raping model Deniece Cornejo on Jan. 17, 2014 in her condominium unit in Taguig.

He was detained at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) starting on Sept. 19 when the Taguig court issued a non-bailable warrant of arrest against him for the rape case.

The TV host and actor originally surrendered to the NBI office in Quezon City to post a P36,000 bail for a warrant of arrest issued by another court for the case of acts of lasciviousness, also filed by Cornejo.

However, the warrant of arrest for the rape case came out in the afternoon of the same day. He was transferred to the NBI detention center in Manila on Sept. 20.

The Taguig RTC Branch 69 issued a commitment order for Navarro to be transferred to the Taguig City Jail Male Dormitory. The NBI transferred him to the jail on Nov. 21.

Navarro’s rape trial will start on Feb. 16 next year.
