This was the remark of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. as he was presented the YouTube Gold Play Button in Malacañang on Friday, December 23, adding that the platform's gold creator award was a good Christmas gift.

In a video posted on his social media channels, Marcos was all smiles when he received the sizeable gold-plated brass plaque from his staff.

"Tingnan naman ninyo ang napakagandang Christmas gift na natanggap ko (Look at this very beautiful Christmas gift that I received)," he said.

The President thanked the public for supporting his social media channels, saying reaching the milestone would not be possible without them.

"Magpapasalamat ako sa lahat ng nagsusubaybay sa atin, at ipagpatuloy natin ang pag-post, pag-comment, at pag-subscribe dito sa ating social media (I thank all our followers and please continue posting, commenting, and subscribing to our social media pages)," he said.

"Maraming-maraming salamat sa suporta ninyo. 'Wag po sanang magsawa ang suportang binibigay ninyo sa akin (Thank you very much for your support. I hope you won't get tired of supporting me)," he added.

The YouTube Gold Creator Award, or the Gold YouTube Play Button plaque, is given to creators or channels that reach or surpass 1,000,000 subscribers.

As of December 24, Marcos' YouTube channel, "Bongbong Marcos, " has 2.72 million subscribers.

The channel has had almost 137 million views since it was established on November 11, 2009.

Marcos uses his YouTube channel to update the public on his engagements, particularly during the previous elections. Since his proclamation as the 17th Philippine President six months ago, Marcos has added 23 videos to his growing platform.
