Lt. Gen. Bartolome Vicente Bacarro, AFP Chief of Staff, thanked the participating youth organizations for showing their support to the AFP as he acknowledged their role in nation-building.

“It is our duty and responsibility to protect the dreams of our youth. The AFP must encourage them to keep themselves engaged and embark on great opportunities that will refine and strengthen their character to face the real world,” Baccaro said in his speech delivered by Brig. Gen. Fermin Carangan, AFP assistant deputy chief of staff for civil military operations.
