Netizens are pouncing on Alex Gonzaga, here’s why

Alex Gonzaga has seemingly disturbed a beehive opening up about her being painted as “the bad guy” on a recent podcast.

Note that she did so relating a story about her being “traumatized” with a certain actress supposedly doing the very thing to her back when she was just a showbiz newbie.

“May mga tao na who did you wrong or who traumatized you and then you wouldn’t even talk about it. Parang you would just let it be. And then pag sila na yung nagkwento, sila pa yung mabait, ikaw pa yung masama na parang ibang iba na yung kwento,” she shared.

Inadvertently, it triggered mixed reaction.

While there were some who perfectly understood where she is coming from, there were also those seemingly only too eager to lecture her about it.

Some of the comments:

“Growing up means stopping this ‘pa-victim mentality.’

“Try to improve yourself.”

“I’ve been there, dahil sa pagka prangka ko lagi ako na misinterpret.”

“You're way too comfortable and entitled.”

“Don't let them affect you. We love you Alex!”

“Ang magandang sagot lng tlaga sa knila is SILENCE, bahala na si Lord. hindi deserve ng energy natin yung mga ganung tao.”

“At times you’ll learn important lessons in life in the most unpleasant way.”

“Ilugar mo kasi ang ugali mo.”

The issue blew up on Twitter Friday, with the hashtag #Team Dina making it to the trending topic list.

Apparently, some people believed Alex was taking a dig at Dina Bonnevie.

Supposedly, it was the awarded actress who scolded the young Alex for always coming in late for work.

Dina is still silent on the issue as of writing.
