Celebs mourn passing of Jovit Baldivino


Marcelito Pomoy, grand winner of the second edition of "Pilipinas Got Talent," is among many celebrities grieving over the untimely passing of singer Jovit Baldivino.

He wrote on Facebook: "Parekoy…. 3:33AM this morning pinipilit ka pa naming kausapin at gisingin baka magmilagro pa… sobrang sakit mawalan ng isang kaibigan.. ikaw yong taong unang sumuporta sa laban ko sa PGT.. pahinga ka na… no more pain parekoy… isa kang tunay na kaibigan… hinding hindi kita malilimutan… (loudly crying face emojis)."

Marcelito added: "From the day na tinakbo ka sa ICU… pinuntahan agad kita.. talked to the family if we can raise funds for you.. if we can do concert for a cause for you but its too late now… contacted all the generous and people with a big heart all over the world to help you parekoy… thank you so so much to all those who helped Jovit… thank you for being with us during Jovit’s fight…"

He then asked those in the US and other countries to lend financial support to Jovit’s family.

"Star Power: Sharon's Search For The Next Female Pop Superstar" grand winner Angeline Quinto is also mourning the death of Jovit.

On Instagram, Angeline shared a photo of her with the late singer, along with Marcelito and Yeng Constantino.

"PINOY CHAMPS. Paalam Jovs. Hinding hindi kita makakalimutan. Salamat sa pagkakaibigan at pagkakataon na makatrabaho kita. Pasayahin at kantahan mo sila dyan sa langit ah Jovs," she wrote. "@jovitbaldivino Mahal kita Jovit."

Meanwhile, the first "Philippine Dream Academy" grand winner Yeng re-shared the said snap on her Twitter account along with broken heart emojis.
