Matches are slated on Dec. 11 and 15 at the Western Sydney Wanderers Park with 23 players being called up to play against a Papua New Guinea side that is just three ranks higher than the Filipinas in the FIFA World Rankings.

Filipinas is seated at No. 53 while Papua New Guinea holds the No. 50 spot.

The final camp is still part of the nationals' preparation for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup where the Filipinas will play against co-host New Zealand, Switzerland, and Norway in Group A.

"We’ve come so far in the last 11 months but the few months leading to the World Cup will be even more challenging as a group," said Filipinas head coach Alen Stajcic. "We have a tough road ahead of us if we want to be the best that we can be in the World Cup."

Just last month, the Filipinas faced Chile, which is ranked No. 38 in the world, and came up with a draw (1-1) and a loss (1-0) in their two friendlies.
