Catriona Gray disappointed after being cut off

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray couldn't help but feel upset after she wasn't able to finish her supposed 15-minute speech at the recent Global Peace Festival in Pampanga.

Through a tweet, she aired her frustration.

She wrote: "I'm so disappointed."

"To everyone who has been waiting in the heat at the #GPFestival2022 I'm sorry. I worked on a 20min speech for you all, and have been so excited to share it with you all but I was cut off not even 10mins in. Just know I love and appreciate you guys and I'm so sad I wasn't able to have my proper time with you."

Note that Catriona was among those who graced the 13-year-old international nonprofit organization, which aims to promote “an innovative, values-based approach to peacebuilding, guided by the vision of One Family under God.”

During the event, Catriona noted, "I think the message that I have to share with you today is something I hope you'll take home, that you'll think about - hopefully- will make you ponder some things and go on to do great things in the future."

She started by reiterating how being called to serve is something that people can all do in all of their circles and whatever they do in their lives.

Then Catriona pointed out that Filipinos really value such, that we even have the term "bayanihan."

"It's like our version of altruism which is life compassion but it means to give selflessly without any personal gain," she related.

A few minutes after, Catriona was asked to hurry up.

So after sharing her story, Catriona then introduced the founder and chairman of the Global Peace Foundation, Dr. Hyun Jin Preston Moon.
