Members of the Northern Police District (NPD) seized a total of ₱ 340,000.00 worth of shabu from a 37-year-old man in Brgy. Bignay in Valenzuela City on Saturday, Dec. 3.
Police identified the suspect as Jonnel Nabera Gustilo of Barangay Bignay, Valenzuela City.
The suspect was nabbed during a buy-bust operation conducted by the operatives of the District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU)-NPD at his residence at about 12:28 a.m. on Saturday.
Confiscated from him was a piece of medium size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing an undetermined amount of ‘shabu’; a piece of knot-tied knot-tied transparent plastic bag containing suspected ‘shabu’ with an estimated weight of more or less 50 grams worth ₱340,000.00; and the buy-bust money.
The arrested suspect was brought to the NPD-DDEU office.
Appropriate charges will be filed against the suspect, police said.
