LOOK: Tacloban's traditional 'Christmas Village' opens its doors


Tingog Party-list and House Speaker Martin Romualdez have unveiled the annual 'Christmas Village' attraction at Price Mansion in Tacloban City.

On hand during the unveiling was Tingog Party-list Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez, Speaker Romualdez's wife. Speaker Romualdez represents Leyte's 1st district--which includes Tacloban--in the House of Representatives.

"The Christmas Village was founded several years ago by Tingog Party-list and House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez and has since become a Christmas tradition in Tacloban City and its surrounding towns and provinces," read a statement from the party-list on Thursday afternoon, Dec. 1.

The Christmas Village is open Mondays to Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Fridays to Sundays from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
