BREAKING: Lady Archers end Lady Bulldogs' 108-game winning run to bring back Final Four format

De La Salle ended National University's 108-game winning run spanning since 2014 with a 61-57 victory in overtime in the UAAP Season 85 women’s basketball tournament Wednesday, Nov. 23, at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion.

The Lady Archers, who managed to put an end to one of the longest winning streaks in the history of the league, brought back the old Final Four format in the women's category for the first time in eight years.

It was also the first time since Oct. 5, 2013 during the Finals Game 3 of the UAAP Season 76 that La Salle came out on top of NU.

The Lady Archers led by as much as nine points in the contest with Fina Niantcho Tchuid showing the way after a huge double-double performance of 14 points apart from 19 rebounds.
