Members of the Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS) arrested a man for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition in the city on Friday, Nov. 18.
Police identified the suspect as Jayson Faustino Santos, 45, and a resident of Camarin, Caloocan City.
Operatives of Sub-Station 11, CCPS nabbed the suspect in his residence at about 11:40 p.m. on Nov. 18.
Santos was arrested for violation of Section 28 of R.A. 10591 or Comprehensive law on firearms and ammunition.
Confiscated from the suspect was a caliber .38 revolver Smith and Wesson Springfield with five pieces of live ammunition.
The suspect will be subjected to inquest proceedings before the Caloocan City Prosecutor’s Office after the completion of pertinent documents.
