Carlos Yulo captured the bronze medal in the parallel bars to end his campaign at the 51st FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships on a high note in Liverpool, England Sunday, Nov. 6.

Yulo scored 15.366 behind reigning Olympic champion Zou Jingyuan of China, who amassed an impressive 16.166 for his third world title in the event.

Germany’s Lukas Dauser went home with the silver with 15.500.

Yulo’s feat came a few hours after he finished with a silver medal in vault, where he failed to retain his crown.

In last year’s edition in Kitakyushu, Japan, he went home with one gold (vault) and one silver (parallel bars).
