Over 3K individuals assisted by PH Red Cross last Undas 2022


The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Undas 2022 Operations assisted a total of 3,342 individuals from Oct. 28 to Nov. 2.

From this number, PRC said that 150 people who experienced dizziness, abrasion, chest pain, headache, hyperventilation, body weakness, and bleeding received medical attention from its staff and volunteers.

Meanwhile, 3,149 individuals underwent blood pressure tests, blood sugar monitoring, and a psychosocial support program.

Last Nov. 1, PRC Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Richard Gordon directed all PRC chapters to deploy ambulances with trained Emergency Medical Services personnel on every major transportation hub nationwide in preparation for the volume of passengers returning home from the long weekend observation of All Souls and All Saints' day.

Aside from that, PRC said that its "bakuna bus" which was deployed at Holy Cross Memorial Park in Quezon City had administered Covid-19 vaccines to 43 individuals.
