Four fugitives in Calabarzon arrested


CAMP BGEN. VICENTE LIM, Laguna -- Four most wanted persons in Calabarzon were arrested in separate police operations, the Police Regional Office-Region 4 reported on Tuesday, Oct. 25.

Calabarzon regional director Brigadier General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. identified the arrested fugitives as Maximo Sumaoang Orro, 56; Edward Acebo Delfina, 25; and Randy Gonzales Doce, 39, and Angelo Timola Encarnado, 23.

Police also revealed that Doce is the leader of the ‘Randy Doce gun for hire group’ that’s operating in the 2nd and 3rd District of Batangas.

Doce was arrested by the combined elements of the Provincial Intelligence Unit, Batangas Police Provincial Office, Naval Intelligence and Security Group Southern Luzon, Batangas City Police Station and 1st Batangas Provincial Mobile Force Company during a manhunt operation at about 1:50 p.m in Sitio Tres, Brgy. Balete, Batangas City.

Doce has a pending warrant of arrest for murder issued at Regional Trial Court Branch 84 Batangas City on March 5, 2020.

Orro on the other hand was arrested by the operatives of the Kawit Municipal Police Station in Brgy. Toclong, Kawit, Cavite on October 24 (Monday) at around 1 p.m.

He has a standing warrant of arrest for statutory rape under Par.1 of Art. 266-A in relation to par.1 of Art. 266-B of R.A. 11648 and rape by sexual assault under Art. 266-A par. 2 of R.A. 11648 in relation to Sec. 5 (B) of R.A. 7610 (2 counts) in Imus City, Cavite.

In almost the same hour of the day, personnel of Ibaan Municipal Police Station arrested Delfina in Barangay Poblacion, Ibaan, Batangas.

Delfina has a warrant of arrest for violation of Art II Sec. 11 of R.A.9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002). It was issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 87, Rosario, Batangas.

Encarnado was caught by the elements of the Warrant and Subpoena Section of Dasmariñas City Police Station, in Brgy. Sampaloc 1, Dasmariñas City, Cavite, at 1:30 p.m.

He has a warrant of arrest for the crime of rape in relation to R.A. 7610 (two counts) and violation of sec. 5 of RA 7610 with criminal case no. DC-5174-18, DC-5175-18, and DC-5173-18. No Bail was recommended.

Nartatez stated that all the arrested fugitives were properly documented prior to turn-over to the court that issued the warrants of arrest.

They were all arrested on Monday in police manhunt operations in separate towns in Calabarzon region (Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Quezon, and Rizal, and the highly urbanized city of Lucena).
