A lineman was shot dead by unidentified gunman in Barangay Kaligayahan, Quezon City on Sunday, Oct. 23.
Police identified the victim as Michael Quiopa Mercino, a resident of Perlas ng Silanganan St., Brgy. Kaligayahan.
According to the police report, the victim was walking along Ruby Stone St. in Brgy. Kaligayahan at about 8:10 p.m. when the suspect suddenly appeared and shot him in the head.
The victim was rushed to Bernardino Hospital where he died at about 8:43 p.m. due to a gunshot ounds in the head and arm.
Police are still conducting investigation to determine the motive behind the killing.
