This solon gave P3,000 'ayuda' each to bar exam takers

In a Facebook post Thursday, Oct. 13, Rodriguez is seen holding a send off for law students from Liceo de Cagayan College of Law and Xavier Ateneo College of Law at the Nazareth Gym.

The 123 students, who are scheduled to take the bar exams next month, received a pep talk from the House of Representatives' resident legal luminary as well as P3,000 worth of cash aid each.

All in all, Rodriguez gave away P369,000 to the bar takers.

Also present during the send-off ceremony were lawyer Regine Rodriguez and Dean Manuel Cabrera of Liceo College of Law.

"It can be remembered that last year, Cong. Rufus provided a total of P472,172 cash assistance to the 2020/21 bar examinees from LDCU and XU. Additionally, he distributed P98,175 worth of his book titled 'Bar Review Methods & Bar Exams Techniques'," the post read.

The Mindanao solon chairs the House Committee on Constitutional Amendments in the current 19th Congress. He was a deputy speaker during the previous 18th Congress.

The Supreme Court (SC) said the bar exams will take place on Nov. 9, 13, 16, and 20.
