Customers of Maynilad Water Services, Inc. in 10 cities in the National Capital Region (NCR) will experience water service interruption from Oct. 12 -17.
Maynilad said that the service interruption will occur daily on the said dates in some barangays in Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela Las Pinas, Manila, Makati, Paranaque, Pasay and Quezon Cities due to high water demand in its Bagbag Reservoir.
In Caloocan City, parts of barangays, 95, 99, 133, 134, 136, 138 to 142, 144, 145, 147, 157 to 159, and 161 to 163 will be affected by the water service interruption from Oct. 12-16, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Barangays 1 to 8, 10 to 23, 25 to 28, 30 to 44, 46 to 50, 52 to 71, 73, 74, 77, 78, 80, 93, 97, 98, 101, 103, 105, 107,109 to 118, 120, 122 to 131, 148, 149, 152, 153, 154, 159, 160, 162, 163, 167 to 171, 174 to 180, 182 to 188, North Bay Boulevard and San Jose will also have no water on Oct.12-17, 6 p.m. to 4 a.m.
Affected areas in Makati City are barangays Bangkal, Magallanes, Pio Del Pilar, and San Isidro (Oct. 12-16, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m). Barangays Bangkal and Palanan will also experience water interruption from Oct. 12-17, 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Barangays Sto. Nino and Tambo (Oct. 12-16, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.), 201, Don Bosco, Marcelo Green, Merville, Moonwalk, and San Antonio (Oct. 12-17, 6 p.m. to 6 a.m) in Paranaque City will also be affected.
There will also be no water in Barangays Pamplona Uno to Pamplona Tres, Pulanglupa Uno and Dos, Manuyo Dos and Zapote (Oct. 12-16, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.) in Las Pinas City.
Maynilad said that in Quezon City, barangays Baesa, Bahay Toro, Bungad, Maharlika, Pag-ibig sa Nayon, Paltok, Saint Peter, Sangandaan, Sauyo, Talipapa, Tandang Sora, Vetarans Village, including 157, 158, 163, and 164, are affected by the water interruption on Oct 12-16, 9 a.m to 11 p.m.
Water interruption will also be experienced in Quezon City’s barangays Bagbag, Bagong Silangan, Batasan Hills, Commonwealth, Greater Fairview, Pasong Putik, Payatas, San Agustin, San Bartolome, Sauyo, Sta. Lucia, Pag-ibig sa Nayon, Sta. Monica, San Jose, A. Samson, Balingasa, Dona Josefa Marcos, Lourdes, Maharlika, Manresa, Masambong, Nagkaisang-Nayon, Saint Peter, Salvacion, San Bartolome, San Isidro Labrador, Santa Teresita, Santo Domingo, Siena, Talayan, Talipapa, and Tatalon, 131, and 170 (Oct. 12-17, 6 p.m. to 4 a.m.).
In Manila City, water service interruption will also occur on October 12-16, (9 a.m. to 11 p.m.) in barangays 95,100,103 to 105, 107, 108, 587, 588, 598 to 601, 649, 662, 673, 675, 676, 686 t0 695, 707 to 718, 720, 724, 725, 731 to 734, 739, 744 to 762, 769, 803, 807, 826 to 836, 842, 845, 846, 850, 851, 855 to 859, 862, 864, 867, 868, 870 to 872, 587 A.
From Oct. 12-17 (6 p.m. to 4 a.m), barangays with no water in Manila are 1 to 10, 18, 20, 48, 66, 68,69, 70,71, 74, 75, 76, 78, 81, 119, 120,121, 124 to 153, 155, 160, 163, 168, 169, 170, 171, 177 to 186, 198 to 276, 281 to 287, 289, 290, 291, 292, 294 to 309, 313 to 325, 329, 330, 335 to 576, 626 to 640, 654, 655, 657 to 661, 663, 664, 666, 667, 669, 671, 672, 674, 676, 696 to 172 (Honorio Lopez), 202-A, 659-A, 660-A, and 664-A.
In Pasay City, the affected barangays on Oct. 12-16, from 9 a.m to 11 p.m, are 149 to 153, 156, 159, 161 to 163, 165, to 167, 169, 171 to 175, 178, 179, 181, 184, 190, and Pio del Pilar.
Interruption of water service in barangays 41 to 49, 51,52, 53, 56 to 59, 63 to 68, 71 to 75, 80, 81, 84,85, 86, 89, 91, 93 to 99, 101, 104,106 to 110, 112, 113, 114, 115, 118, 120, 122, 123,125, 126, 128, 130, 131, 135 to 138, 140, 142, 181 to 185, 201 and Bangkal in the same city will also occur from Oct. 12-17, 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
In Malabon City, seven barangays will have no water service on October 12-16, 9 a.m to 11 p.m. - Concepcion, Dampalit, Ibaba, Longos, Potrero, San Agustin, and Tanong.
Also affected in Malabon are barangays 14, 161, Acacia, Baritan, Bayan-bayan, Catmon, Concepcion, Dampalit, Flores, Hulong Duhat, Ibaba, Longos, Muzon, Niugan, Potrero, San Agustin, Tanong, Tinajeros, Tonsuya, and Tugatog (Oct. 12-17, 6 p.m. to 4 a.m.).
Meanwhile, Navotas City’s barangays 12, 14, Bagumbayan North and South, Bangkulasi, Daanghari, Navotas East and West, Northbay Boulevard, San Jose, San Rafael, San Roque, Sipac-Almasen, Tangos and, Tanza also will have no water from Oct. 12-17 6 p.m. to 4 a.m.
The same water interruption schedule will be implented in Valenzuela City’s barangays Arkong Bato, Balangkas, Bisig, Coloong, Dalandanan, Gen.T. De Leon, Isla, Karuhatan, Mabolo, Malanday, Malinta, Marulas, Maysan, Palasan, Pariancillo Villa, Parada, Pasolo, Polo, Poblacion, Rincon, Tagalag, Viente Reales, Wawang Pulo, and Ugong.
Maynilad said its mobile water tankers will be deployed to the affected areas to deliver potable water. Stationary tanks are also installed in several areas.
“We encourage our affected customers to store enough water when supply is available. Upon resumption of water service, please let the water flow out briefly until it clears,” Maynilad added.
