Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano was recognized by the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) as “Oustanding Mayor” during the 7th Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) Accredited National Convention of Public Attorneys on Monday, Oct. 10.
PAO chief Persida Rueda-Acosta handed the award citing Rubiano for her excellence in the field of public service and support.
The recognition is based on PAO PRAISE (Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence) which recognizes an outstanding individual and his/her contribution to the legal mission of the said agency.
The first face-to-face national convention of more than PAO lawyers in the country was held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) more than two years since the Covid-19 pandemic hit the country.
