"I personally give President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. the highest grade of excellent," Frasco told reporters on Friday, Oct. 7.

"From day one on his inauguration he set the tone for the PBBM administration and made us proud of the Philippines and proud to be a Filipino," said the solon, who represents the 5th district in Cebu in the House of Representatives.

Frasco offered a quick explanation of his "excellent" rating.

According to him, the President "picked a top-notched economic team, outstanding Cabinet members and provided them with the vision and a clear direction on how to move our country forward and uplift the lives of the Filipino people".

Frasco also placed a high premium on the results of Marcos's working trips abroad. "President Bongbong Marcos Jr. has scored high in the international arena as well," he said.

"At the 77th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), President Marcos reminded the leaders of the world of the long standing significance of the Philippines’ commitment to peace and progress, and the important contributions of the Filipino people to the world.

"His was the voice of unity among the nations of the world," the Cebu lawmaker said.

Marcos's 100th day as Chief Executive lapsed on Friday. He assumed the presidency on June 30.
