400 residents benefit from Kalinga cop’s outreach program


TINGLAYAN, Kalinga – The Kalinga Provincial Police Office, together with the local government unit, various medical practitioners and private sectors, held an Outreach program that benefitted around 400 residents in Tinglayan town here on Tuesday, Oct. 4.

The activity coincided with the 4th anniversary of the 2nd Kalinga Provincial Mobile Force Company and the anniversary of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi in Tinglayan, Kalinga.

With the Medical Reserved Force of Kalinga Philippine National Police and some medical practitioners from various hospitals in the province, the team provided medical and dental consultations, tooth extraction, free circumcision, and other health services.

The residents also received free medicines.

Apart from the medical services, other services were also offered like haircuts and body massage.

The joint outreach activity's success was a clear manifestation and display of the PNP's Revitalized Kasimbayanan (Kapulisan, Simbahan at Pamayanan) toward affording the community with peace and development.

Kasimbayanan is a community mobilization program that highlights the synergized and collaborative partnership between the PNP and the general public through the intervention and help of the religious sector toward the goal of achieving a holistic transformation that involves the PNP and the community it serves and protects.
