On October 30 and 31 respectively, Cebu Pacific said it will resume its direct flights from Davao to Cagayan de Oro and Bacolod, allowing passengers from Mindanao to connect easily to more places across the country. Davao-Bacolod will be operating thrice weekly: every Monday, Wednesday and Friday; while Davao-Cagayan de Oro will be at four times weekly: every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The additional flights will bring the total number of domestic connections from Davao to seven, which includes direct flights to Bohol, Cebu, Iloilo, Manila, and Zamboanga.

The airline will also be restarting its first international flight from Davao on October 30 as it will fly passengers directly to Singapore. Cebu Pacific is the first local airline to bring back direct international operations in Davao.

Cebu Pacific also continues to boost its connections from its Cebu hub as it expects to add more flights to key domestic destinations in November. This includes flights to Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo, General Santos, and Puerto Princesa, among others.

Cebu Pacific currently flies direct to 22 domestic destinations from Cebu, and two international destinations namely Singapore and Seoul (Incheon) in South Korea.

“We are very happy to share this good news with every Juan as we continuously see a sustained confidence among the traveling public. As we approach the holiday season, we expect more people wanting to fly and come back home, thus, we made sure we are more than ready with additional flight connections,” said Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific chief commercial officer.

To further stimulate travel and encourage its Visayas-Mindanao market to "fly ta bai," Cebu Pacific launched a special P199 seat sale from October 1 to 16 exclusive for the Visayas and Mindanao hubs. Travel period is from October 1, 2022 until March 31, 2023, providing travelers the option to fly now or plan and book ahead.

Cebu Pacific said it continues to implement a multi-layered approach to safety while it operates with a 100 percent fully vaccinated crew, 95 percent of whom have received booster shots.
