Former vice president Leni Robredo’s brainchild program, Angat Buhay, continues to get support, even from international partners and governments.

US Ambassador to the Philippines MaryKay Carlson said in a Twitter post Wednesday that she was "pleased" to meet Robredo to discuss various aspects of her program, including those focused on youth, health and education.

The two also explored "opportunities for collaboration," Carlson added.

The US envoy also congratulated Robredo for her Harvard Kennedy School fellowship, leading to her becoming one of the Hauser Leaders.

Following the onslaught of Super Typhoon "Karding," Angat Buhay mobilized its volunteers to extend assistance to those in need, particularly in Nueva Ecija, Quezon, Tarlac, Laguna, Pampanga and Bulacan, by distributing relief goods.
