Korean actor Namkoong Min, star of the dramas “Hot Stove League,” “The Veil” and “Good Manager,” is getting married next month.
The 44-year-old actor’s agency, 935 Entertainment, announced on Sept. 28 that he will marry model Jin Ah-reum, 32, on Oct. 7 in Seoul.
Namkoong Min and Jin Ah-reum met in 2015 through the short film “Light My Fire.” Namkoong Min was the director while Jin Ah-reum was the female lead.
After working together in the film, they became lovers and admitted they were dating the following year. The two decided to get married after being in a relationship for seven years.
The two will have their wedding at The Shilla Seoul hotel at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 7, according to an exclusive report by Korean media outlet Dispatch.
“The wedding will be held quietly with close relatives and acquaintances somewhere in Seoul on October 7th, and we ask for your understanding that we cannot tell you in detail as it will be held as a private event,” according to the announcement by 935 Entertainment.
It added, “We ask for your warm support and blessings for the future of the two people who will take the first meaningful step in their lives. We will greet you with a good image in the future so that we can repay your love. We ask for your continued interest and love for actor Namkoong Min in the future.”
