Parañaque, Pasay, Las Piñas LGUs suspend work on Sept. 26


The city governments of Parañaque, Pasay and Las Piñas announced the suspension of work for their employees for Monday, Sept. 26.

Parañaque announced that only frontline services--City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, City Health Office, City Environment and Natural Resources Office, City Engineering Office, City Social Welfare and Development, and the Traffic and Parking Management Office will render services for any untoward incident that may occur due to super typhoon “Karding.”

The city government also announced the cancellation of Covid-19 vaccination in all vaccination sites and reminded residents to be on alert and ready.

Pasay Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano also announced the suspension of work at the city hall.

She said offices related to disaster and emergency response will be open and continue to render services to residents. She said the suspension of work in private offices will depend on the companies.

Las Piñas Mayor Imelda Aguilar also ordered the suspension of work at the city hall except in the health service and disaster and emergency response and told residents to stay safe.
