2 drug dens dismantled, P241,000 shabu seized in Zambales


SUBIC, Zambales – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Zambales and police seized suspected shabu worth P241,000 and dismantled two drug dens in separate operations here on Thursday, Sept. 22.

The first operation in Barangay Calapacuan at 11:40 p.m. netted 19 grams of suspected shabu valued at P131,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, and six drug suspects – Alexander Aberia, drug den maintainer; Kimberly Quintino, Edgardo Montilla Jr., Mike Berto, Joven Domulot, and Martine Panganiban.

On Friday, Sept. 23, at 2 a.m., another drug den was dismantled in Barangay Matain where 16 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P110,400 and assorted drug paraphernalia were found and five suspected drug personalities were arrested.

Suspects were Baby Dabon, 58, drug den maintainer; Lovie Ferreras, Harold dela Cruz, Ruel Maninang, and Hanzel Silao.

Suspects face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 or Republic Act No. 9165.
