141 small business owners in Pasay undergo seminar

A total of 141 beneficiaries of the “Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG)” program of Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) underwent an orientation seminar to grow their businesses, the Pasay City government announced on Wednesday.

Pasay Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the seminar was held on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at the Eduardo “Duay” Calixto Training Center.

She said beneficiaries from different barangays in the city will be given a cash card amounting to P10,000.

She said the PPG program aims to assist small businesses like sari-sari stores, parlors, and others that were badly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Rubiano said the PPG is a program of the DTI-National Capital Region in partnership with the city government and the Pasay Cooperative Development Office.
