CAAP issues NOTAM for China's rocket launch

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) after China was reported to have launched rockets for testing.

CAAP spokesman Eric Apolonio said China's Long March 7A (CZ-7A) rocket launch started on Tuesday, Sept. 13, and the NOTAM was issued in areas where the rocket debris may fall.

The NOTAM will be until midnight of Sept. 18.

The NOTAM's areas of concern include the drop zones identified by the Philippine Space Agency (PhilSa) which are approximately 71 kilometers from Burgos, Ilocos Norte and 52 kilometers away from Sta. Ana, Cagayan.
