Mayor Aguilar urges Las Piñeros to support ‘Kadiwa sa Pamahalaan’

Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar urged city residents to support “Kadiwa sa Pamahalaan” that will help farmers and fishermen in selling their goods at a lower price.

Aguilar said the “Kadiwa sa Pamhalaan” was launched on May 13 and is now a weekly market system every Friday at the Las Piñas City Hall’s back parking lot from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

She said the city government launched the project in coordination with the City Agriculture Office and the Department of Agriculture (DA).

The mayor said the “Kadiwa sa Pamahalaan” allows farmers to sell major agricultural products and fishermen their fresh sea foods at reasonably low prices.

Aguilar said the products being sold by farmers and fishermen come from Mindoro and Benguet.

She said aside from helping farmers and fishermen, the city government is also helping residents by providing them with products that are cheaper.
