No water in parts of Angono, 3 localities in Rizal for 6 to 7 hours on Sept. 8-11 -- Manila Water


Manila Water will implement a six to seven hours of water service interruption in some parts of Rodriguez, Antipolo, San Mateo, and most parts of Angono in Rizal Province on Sept. 8 to 11.

On Sept. 8, Thursday, Manila Water scheduled a leak repair from 10 p.m. until the next day, Sept. 9, Friday, at 4 a.m. that will result in the loss of water in some parts of Barangay San Isidro in Rodriguez, Rizal and line meter and strainer declogging affecting portions of Barangay San Jose and Dalig in Antipolo City (along the road to Teresa; Sitio Payong; Sta. Maria Subdivision; and San Antonio Village).

In San Mateo, up to seven hours of water service interruption will be experienced starting at 10 p.m. on Sept. 8 until 5 a.m. on Sept. 9 in some parts of Barangay Guitnang Bayan II (Abuab Roads 1 and 2; Villa San Mateo 2,3,4,6, and 7; La Mar Village; Zen Homes; and Crystal Homes) due to the emergency leak repair works of Manila Water in the affected areas.

In Angono, there will be no water in most parts of the town affecting portions of nine of its 10 villages, namely, Barangays San Isidro; San Vicente; Poblacion Itaas; Poblacion Ibaba; San Roque; Santo Niño; Bagumbayan; and San Pedro, from 10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept.10 until 4 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11, due to the scheduled maintenance works of Manila Water on Angono Diversion Road.
