How to measure the effectiveness of a celebrity endorsement? For a clothing line, it's when lots of people desire and what the celeb is wearing, which translates to substantial sales for the brand. This is specially true in the case of Filipino fashion label Plains & Prints, which has earned a lot of loyal following and survived the harshness of the pandemic through the sheer star power of its muse, the National Sweetheart Anne Curtis.

For the event launching Plains and Prints' latest collab with Italy-educated designer Rosanna Ocampo, Anne showed up in a dainty turquoise green dress from the latest collection. The sleeveless dress had understated elegance but will undoubtedly turn heads with its vibrant color, decorative lace details, and body-hugging style.

Anne completed her OOTD  with a Louis Vuitton bag, nude colored heels and  layered jewelry. A lot of people in the room that day were definitely having an " I'll have what she's wearing moment."

The Plains & Prints x Rosanna Ocampo Collection features 11 pieces, consisting of three tops, four dresses, three co-ords, and one bottom. The color palette is bright and relaxing, but there are also neutral tones for evening wear. The clothes look like what one would wear to a brunch with friends, or a date, but there are pieces which are ideal for after-work parties as well.

"The collection has a wide range of colors, textures, and prints to choose from, every type of woman will certainly be able to find a piece that feels like it’s been tailor-fit for them," said Plains and prints owner Roxanne Farillas.

Designer Ocampo revealed that her creations  were inspired by Anne and other boss babes who want to look their best but would still like to retain their feminine, sensual side.

“When I was asked to do this collaboration, I just wanted it to be a continuous process of what I already normally do. I think when you reach a certain age, you’re already so confident in your own skin to wear a lot of colors and all these details, which means you already know who you are," she added.

Some of Manila's most stylish ladies attended the event which included Solenn Heussaff, stylist Liz Uy, Tim Yap, Tessa Prieto, Phoemela Baranda, Kelly Misa, Mikaela Martinez, Alexandra Rocha, Chelsea Robato and beauty queen Emma Tiglao.

Plains & Prints X Rosanna Ocampo collection is now available in all P & P stores nationwide and online via www.plainsandprints.com, e-shopper Penelope, and Zalora PH.
