TRIGGERED? Markus Paterson vows to never date anyone from showbiz again

Actor Markus Paterson recently featured in an online discussion along with Anthony Jennings, Jae Miranda, Gello Marquez, and Aljon Mendoza.

There, they talked about their experiences and insights relating to love and relationships, among others.

In the middle of the talks, Markus shared his "three month-rule."

"Kapag ikaw yung nag-cheat or nang-iwan, bigyan mo naman ng grace period yung lalaki," he said, without mentioning any names.

Aljon asked: "So, sa susunod na relationship mo, sasabihin niya?"

Markus cut him off, saying: "Anong susunod na relationship?"

"Susunod na relationship? Tan**na. Kung may lessons ako sa mga relationships ko - never to f***ing date someone in the industry, bro," he said.

He then stressed: "Huwag niyong i-cut yan! Seryoso ako diyan!"

The four boys then gave Markus a hug.

Anthony told him: "Okay lang yan, mahal ka namin."

Markus went on to add, "I've made a mistake more than three times in this life; it's always to be ready when you start moving on. Because if you're not ready to move on and you meet some other people and you still have some ties to your past, trauma, pain, that sh*t gonna come back and haunt you, ruin the relationship you built."

Markus' statement immediately received mixed reactions.

Some of them:

"Lalim ng hugot ni Marcus. magulo talaga ang showbiz world. Di mo sure kung anong totoong kaganapan off cam."

"Thank you for letting us see Paterson’s true colors! It made me remember why I was so disappointed when Jea and him were together."

"hindi ako fan ni marcus. sa totoo lang, wala naman masama sa sinabi nya. experience nya un sa past relationships nya. Pare-pareho tayong wala alam. Atsaka kung nde sila okay ni janella, sa tingin nyo pagkakatiwala ba ni janella si jude sa kanya paminsan minsan, mas galit pa kayo kay janella ha… wag tayong one sided. pare pareho lang tau nakikinood."

Prior, Janella Salvador, who shares a child with Markus, described herself a "single mom" in an interview with Bernadette Sembrano.
