Get ready for 2022's biggest reality-variety game show as GMA Network brings "Running Man PH," one of South Korea's popular programs.

Leading the cast members of "Running Man PH" are Glaiza De Castro, Ruru Madrid, Kokoy de Santos, Lexi Gonzales, Angel Guardian, Buboy Villar, and Mikael Daez who were present during the press conference at the Lugang Cafe in Robinsons Manila.

The entire season was shot at the exact location of the original series in South Korea. It also follows the original format where weekly missions are carried out in various landmarks.

Mikeal, known as the captain, recalled his excitement while shooting all the episodes in South Korea. "Alam niyo naman sobrang hilig ko mag-travel, so sobrang na-excite ako na magtrabaho outside the Philippines after so many things have happened to us in the world."

Glaiza guarantees that Running Man PH will not disappoint the Filipino fans. "Alam ko kung gaano niyo minahal itong show kaya ita-try namin na talagang ibigay sa inyo kung ano 'yong derserved niyo."

In February 2020, GMA Entertainment Group inked a co-production deal with SBS Korea for the local version of the game show. This is a milestone project for the Kapuso Network since this is the first time for one of South Korea's biggest networks will collaborate with a Philippine Network.

Ruru is looking forward for the audience to see the challenges that brought out their amusing personalities. "This time, wala kaming ginagampanan na role kaya mas makikilala kami ng mga tao at gusto ko rin patunayan na hindi ako puro pa-pogi lang."

The popularity and longevity of Running Man are attributed to its ability to make viewers laugh and the natural chemistry of its cast members. The missions are designed to be unpredictable, engaging, and hilarious making the program highly entertaining to watch.

Buboy is confident that the audience will love the diversity of the cast, "Swak kaming lahat dito dahil bawat isa sa amin may kani-kaniyang character may maingay, may sobrang competitive, kaya sigurado akong magmamarka ito sa mga tao."

After the press conference, the cast members of Running Man PH spent the day with their fans with exciting activities and a sneak peek of the upcoming variety show.

"Running Man PH" will premiere on Sept. 3, every Saturday at 7:15 pm; and every Sunday at 7:50 pm.
